Guest and Keynote Speakers

Summit Guest Speakers address the general sessions and luncheons. Submissions for a Speakership are due by September 1st. If interested please contact the Summit Executive Committee by email: info@safetykids.org or by phone: 213-494-7899.

Summit Guest Speaker Submissions

If you are interested in being a Summit Speaker or know someone who would like to be a Summit Speaker at one of the General Sessions or Luncheons please contact Safety 'N Kids Executive Committee at 213-494-7899 to discuss the possibilities.

Speakers receive free admittance to Summit.

Workshop Presenters and Topic Submissions

Workshop Presenters will share the workshop with other presenters and will address an interested group of Summit attendees.

Submissions for a Workshop Presentership are due August 15th.

Workshop Presenter and/or Topic Submission

If you would like to submit a workshop suggestion and/or be a presenter, click on Workshop/Synopsis to access the Workshop/Synopsis Submission Form for presenters and/or topics.

Presenters receive $100.00 discount off of the $250.00 summit registration.

Synopsis and/or Handouts Dissemination:

As attendees at other summits, we know how valuable programmatic synopsis and handouts are from the workshops. Safety 'N Kids requires all presenters to include a synopsis of your presentation and handouts (in English and Spanish) included with the Workshop Submission Form, prior to the Summit. Please contact Safety 'N Kids if you have trouble in meeting these requirements.

Please adhere to the following guidelines when submitting your synopsis and/or handouts:

• Submission of synopsis and/or handouts with Presenter Submission Form:
• Safety 'N Kids accepts only electronic submissions
• if accepted as a presenter your document(s) will be included on the Summit CD and will be posted on the website a month after the Summit. Therefore, it is optional to bring 100 copies of your handout(s) to the Summit for the workshop(s). Safety 'N Kids cannot provide copy services, commercial services are available at your own expense through the hotel
• Document title: should have the same title as your workshop session plus your name
• Format of electronic workshop submissions form, handouts and synopsis: Microsoft™ Word or Excel and Adobe PDF (non-fixed)
• Typeset(font): Verdana or Arial, no smaller than 10 point to ensure platform compatibility
• Speaker and Presenter Disclaimer: By submitting your handouts to the Safety 'N Kids and its website, you agree to have your materials downloaded, printed and/or copied by website users. Safety 'N Kids, Los Angeles unified School District, city of Los Angeles and Youth Educational Sports are not responsible or liable for use or misuse of materials posted on the Safety 'N Kids website or on the Summit CD. All materials will be converted to a fixed PDF file.

Utilizing the Safety 'N Kids Website or Summit CD:

As a service to our presenters, Safety 'N Kids will post your synopsis and/or handout on the website and burn a copy onto the Summit CD. If you elect to have your synopsis on the website, you will save the cost and time of duplicating and bringing to the Summit. Attendees will simply download the synopsis/handouts they are interested in pursuing from the Summit CD presented to all attendees at the Summit.
